Meet the Pastry Chef
Growing up sitting on her mother's kitchen counter and summers in her aunt's kitchen in Dominica sparked interest in baking, but the real passions in Danae's life are art, creative arts, and fostering creativity. Intent on finding ways to combine all these "loves" that make up Danae's life, in 2017, LoungIn' Cake was born. Determined to strive for perfection, while in earning her bachelor's degree in college, she attended the International Culinary Center founded as the French Culinary Institute, receiving her certification in Professional Pastry Arts in 2019. Now six years later, she continues to create, and focusing on curated experiences and custom commissioned edible works.
